Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp was privileged to host Mr. Steve Godbey who arrived at the camp on the 21^st of September 2009. He was very enthusiastic about his long awaited gorilla tracking experience. Unfortunately Mr. Steve Godbey fell sick and had to forsake his long awaited dream of Gorilla tracking while recovering at the lodge. Fortunately, the Gorillas decided to visit the camp that day and he was privileged to view the Gorillas for much longer and with a clearer view than those who went tracking.

This was a once in a life time experience for him which underscores Sanctuary’s wisdom in the choice of the various lodge locations.
